Julie began her yoga journey in 1999 and was immediately hooked. She started teaching whilst undertaking her Environmental Science degree and traveled to various parts of the world being influenced by a number of practices including Hatha, Shivinanda, Asthanga, Kundalini, Power Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Hot and Bikram Yoga and meditation practices such as mindfulness, guided meditation, yoga nidra, and vipassana.
Her classes follow a flowing style of Hatha or Power yoga, with 3/4 of the class focusing on physical practice. Each session includes pranayama, asana, and relaxation/meditation, drawing on the many teachings she has experienced on her yoga journey so far.
